Teeth scaling is an important dental procedure for everyone. This routine procedure helps remove plaque and tartar and other buildup around the teeth, which could potentially lead to various gum diseases.
However, just because this is a routine procedure does not mean that you can take it lightly and not practice all the care you would after any invasive or serious dental procedure. Therefore, here are some of the ways you can care for your teeth after a teeth scaling procedure.

DON’T BRUSH TOO HARD
This rule always applies, regardless of any situation. You should never brush too hard or for too long as it can cause enamel loss, increased sensitivity and a whole lot of other problems.
However, especially after teeth scaling, it is even more important to be gentle on your teeth and avoid brushing too hard. After scaling, your teeth are quite fragile and may even be a little loose. Brushing too hard will not only make them more loose but could also cause bleeding and other dental problems.
RINSE YOUR MOUTH WITH WARM SALINE WATER
For a few days or weeks right after teeth scaling, you should make it a regular habit to rinse your mouth with warm saline water every day. This will help speed up the healing of the gums, soothe any irritated or inflamed parts, and generally, improve the overall hygiene of your mouth.
SCHEDULE REGULAR APPOINTMENTS WITH YOUR DENTIST
The most important thing you need to do is keep up with your regular dental appointments. Your dentist can check and evaluate the condition of your teeth and detect any problems early on.
